John A. Bindernagel, Ph.D., is a Canadian wildlife biologist. He has been interested in the bigfoot phenomenon since 1963 and has been seriously researching the subject since 1975. He is the author of "North America's Great Ape: The Sasquatch" (1998). It is widely considered to be one of the best books available on the subject of sasquatch biology.
Bindernagel has been featured on bigfoot-related television programs such as Best Evidence: Bigfoot, On the Trail of Bigfoot, MonsterQuest, and Cryptid Hunt.
